chime in nowWhen John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate in 2008, it seemed like the first thing everyone said (after "who?") was, "She looks like Tina Fey!" Though Fey had already left Saturday Night Live, she reluctantly agreed to play the Alaska governor – and it's a good thing, too. Fey's debut as Palin, presented as a bipartisan public service announcement about sexism with Hillary Clinton (Amy Poehler), may be the funniest political sketch in SNL history. Say it with us now: "I can see Russia from my house!" Fey's impersonation of Palin was a cultural sensation – and still hilarious when she performed it for the seventh time in May 2011.
