If this is what 60 looks like, we’ll happily speed up the clock--or at least stop obsessing over the passing years. While 20- and 30-somethings typically rule the red carpet, at last night’s Golden Globe Awards it was a trio of 60+ celebs that we couldn't stop thinking about.
Nominated actresses Helen Mirren, 67, and Sally Field, 66, and Zero Dark Thirty director Kathryn Bigelow, 61, arguably looked as gorgeous as they ever have (without the obvious hints of artificial stretching and plumping). And while there was no mistaking any of the three for their younger selves—this was precisely what we loved most about them. They weren’t trying to fight aging and look decades their junior, they simply looked their best for the age they’re at. All of which makes us hope that the 2013 Golden Globe Awards might offer a crystal-ball peek at our own future.
