Illustrator and baker Jessie Oleson, otherwise knows as Cakespy, heads up one of the most kid-friendly blogs around. These Golden Grahams Cookies turn the crispy crunchy breakfast cereal into sweet and chewy oatmeal cookies.

| 3/4 cup butter | 1 1/2 cups flour | |
| 1 1/2 cups sugar | 1/2 teaspoon baking soda | |
| 1 egg | 1 teaspoon salt | |
| 1 teaspoon almond extract | 1 cup rolled oats | |
| 1/4 cup water | 4 cups Golden Grahams |
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Mix the butter, sugar, egg, almond extract, and water well.
Blend the flour, salt, and baking soda; mix into the butter-sugar mixture gradually.
Mix in the rolled oats and cereal.
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of onto a parchment-lined baking sheets, making sure to leave about an inch and a half around each cookie. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges.
