Gorp Wrap

Whether you use traditional gorp—short for “good old raisins and peanuts"—or an updated variety, such as the one here that includes craisins and almonds, this wrap is a wholesome, nutritious snack. To mix things up, you can substitute peanut butter for the cream cheese. This wrap also makes a good packed lunch for school.

    Ingredients

    1 large whole-wheat tortilla (or wrap) 2 tablespoons gorp (or any mix of nuts and dried fruit)
    2 tablespoons cream cheese 1 tablespoon honey

      Lay the whole-wheat wrap on a work surface. Spread with cream cheese.

      Sprinkle the gorp over the cream cheese and drizzle with the honey. Starting on one side, roll the wrap up firmly but not too tight—you don’t want to squeeze out the filling.

      Eat it whole, or cut it in halves or slices.
