Album of the Year: 'Babel,' Mumford & Sons

Mumford & Sons are nominated for six Grammys this year, but we think the old-timey folk blokes will take home top honors for their chart-topping sophomore album, Babel. Even though the award honors musical excellence “without regard to album sales or chart position,” we can’t help but mention that Babel sold more copies in its first week than any rock album since 2008. The British banjo-bangers -- who first wowed crowds with their performance at the 2011 Grammys -- won over rock, pop and country fans with boot-stomping hits like “I Will Wait” and the strong-strummed ballad, “Lover of the Light” -- the video for which starred and was directed by actor Idris Elba.
