NSD: What was your big turning point-either during the show or before that made you realize you needed to lose the weight?
Being put on cholesterol medicine.
NSD: What is one thing you wish you had known before going on The Biggest Loser?
I don't really have anything I wish I'd known.
NSD: Do you think it's harder or easier to be on the show with a family member as a teammate as opposed to competing by yourself?
I think it's a lot easier because it's like taking your support team with you, having someone that's going to support you.
NSD: If you could have done one thing differently during the show, what would it be?
I don't know anything I would have done differently.
NSD: What's the hardest thing to adapt to while living on the ranch?
It's just different hours. Sometimes you get a lot of sleep and sometimes you don't. It just wasn't consistent because of the production schedule.
NSD: What is one thing that keeps you motivated when you don't feel like working out or you want to eat junk food?
That this is my ultimate goal to be at my goal weight and to be there the rest of my life. If you don't feel like working out one day, you just get up and do it anyway. It's going to be a lifelong accomplishment.
NSD: What is your favorite workout?
NSD: What's the best advice Bob or Jillian has given you?
Start small. If 30 minutes is all you can do, start there and [over time], increase it. And keep moving!
NSD: What is your favorite healthy meal or snack?
I like to layer Greek yogurt, blueberries, flaxseed and Kashi GOLEAN Crunch cereal.
NSD: What's something viewers at home wouldn't know from watching the show?
That I like to act like a three and six-year-old with my grandkids.
