'Jersey Shore'

The tight clothes-loving crew of MTV's Jersey Shore became an instant hit the moment they spray-tanned their way onto TV screens, rivaling the ratings of the network's The Hills. And Snooki and the rest of the posse have been controversy magnets, spurring a national debate over the term "guido" (inciting the ire of Italian-American groups who say it's discriminatory) and generating conversation about violence against women when Snooki got punched by a male bar-goer in a Dec. 17 episode.
