Like a lot of people, I’ve always loved Gwen Stefani’s style, whether she’s rocking pink hair and braces, posing with her posse of Harajuku Girls or wearing her kids as accessories. Even as a mom, she always looks totally put together, and so do her kids, Zuma, 2, and especially Kingston, 5, who’s known for his expressive face and fierce outfits. (Clearly fashion sense is hereditary.)
If you’ve been coveting Kingston’s cool clothes for your own kids (I know I have, and I’ve got a daughter!), we have good news: Stefani's kids’ line just launched at Target. Harajuku Mini features (what else?) Japanese anime-inspired clothing for babies, kids and teens, and items range from $4 to $30. “I’ve always been inspired by the cool children’s clothing in Japan, but it was always so hard for me to find it here,” says Stefani. “Now all the moms can get their hands on it!”
Stefani’s other labels, L.A.M.B., which debuted in 2003, and Harajuku Lovers, which launched in 2005, are strictly for adults (although tweens have been known to wear some of her creations in extra small). Harajuku Mini is, of course, an offshoot of Harajuku Lovers and features the same terminally cute style -- from plaid-print jumpers, fuzzy hoodies to faux-leather jackets and trendy punker pants. The collection is available in-stores, but you can see it here, or check out the crazy cuteness below.
