Hair relaxer: Is chemical hair relaxer safe while breastfeeding?
I'm nursing my 3-month-old and am dying to relax my hair--I just can't live with this frizzy mop! Is it safe to continue nurse and use a chemical hair relazer?

With any product used on the skin (andthis includes the scalp) there may be some absorption. However there's no evidence that shows it could harm your nursing baby.
Just remember a chemical relaxer should only be used if your scalp is healthy, without any scratches or sores.
