Halle Berry vs. Gabriel Aubry

Actress Halle Berry and French-Canadian model Gabriel Aubry made a beautiful couple -- but that didn't stop things from getting ugly when they broke up last year. Berry started dating Aubry, who is nine years her junior, in 2005. After the birth of Nahla in 2008, the couple announced plans to stay happily unmarried and have another child. Instead, they had an "amicable" split in 2010 and signed on for 50/50 custody. So why did Aubry suddenly file for full custody in February? Aubry's friends said that he was sick of dealing with Berry's jealous rages, like the one she allegedly flew into when he was photographed on a date with Kim Kardashian. (He reportedly has voicemails and emails to back this up.) Berry's camp claimed that Aubry was an unfit father who was verbally abusive, even using a racial slur against his ex.

The Decision: The custody battle simmered down with the Oscar winner reportedly deciding not to seek sole custody of Nahla in February. And when a judge granted Berry permission to take Nahla to New York City while she filmed the romantic comedy New Year's Eve (she had previously dropped out of the film because of custody hearings), he also stipulated that Aubry would have visitation rights while in N.Y.C.
