The man who scared Halle Berry by skulking about her Hollywood Hills home both Saturday and Sunday returned to the actress' residence Monday night -- and was arrested on the scene by L.A.P.D. officers when Berry positively identified him.
The suspect, who has been named as 27-year-old Richard Franco, prompted Berry to call police on both Saturday and Sunday when he hopped the wall of her property and the 44-year-old actress spotted him creepily peering through her kitchen window. In both instances, by the time police reached Berry's home, Franco had fled.
When Franco returned on Monday, however, Halle was ready. Law enforcement officials tell TMZ that the suspect climbed over the back wall of Berry's property around 11 p.m. on Monday night and was promptly nabbed by members of the actress' private security squad, who had been monitoring him on surveillance cameras. The security team called the L.A.P.D. to the scene, and Franco was arrested and booked on suspicion of felony stalking.
Alas, misdemeanor idiocy is not a real offense, or else he surely would have been charged with that.
