Turn up the volume on costume creativity with this adorable remote control get-up. Just be sure your kid pauses for a few pics before he goes trick-or-treating!
What you’ll need:
- long rectangular box
- pencil
- scissors
- gray paint
- foam board
- assorted color paints
- glue
How to make it: Cut out holes in the box for your kid’s head and arms. Remove the underside of the box so the whole thing can be worn as a shirt. Paint the whole box gray and let dry. To make the remote control’s buttons, take the foam board and cut out a circle for the “power” button, triangles for the “volume” and “channel” arrows and squares for the number buttons. Paint the buttons different colors, using your remote for inspiration. You can add other common remote buttons like “play,” “stop,” “record,” etc. Let dry, and then glue the buttons onto the box.
