'Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters' (Jan. 25)

Short Story:
We all know the story of Hansel and Gretel: Brother and sister narrowly escape the clutches of a cannibalistic witch after wandering into her house made of candy. But what happens next? Now, Hansel (Jeremy Renner) and Gretel (Gemma Arterton) are witch-killing bounty hunters, slaying everything in sight. That is, until a new form of evil emerges that not even this daring duo can handle.

What They're Saying:
"Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters is more Gatling guns and grenades than The Brothers Grimm." -- Seattle Times

Good for Kids?
Young viewers might be intrigued by Hansel & Gretel's fairytale origins, but the film is much less kid-friendly. Featuring "plenty of blood and fantasy violence," Common Sense Media doesn't recommend this flick for little ones.
