Tot-Friendly Menorah

No need for actual fire this year: tiny LED tea lights glow safely in this thrifty, made-from-recycled-goods menorah.

Good for Ages: 3 and up

From: Instructables

What You’ll Need: 8 clean, same-size jars, 1 jar taller than the others, Mod Podge, paint brush, white, blue and yellow tissue paper, scissors, 9 LED tea lights, number stickers, 1-8 (optional)

How to Do It: Cut a pile of squares and rectangles from the white tissue paper. Use the paint brush to coat one jar with Mod Podge and then cover it with the white pieces. Repeat with the 8 remaining jars and allow them to dry. Cut out candles and flames from the blue and yellow paper and stick one on each jar of the same size with a bit of Mod Podge. Place numbers on these 8 jars and then brush a finishing seal of Mod Podge over all 9. Position the larger jar in the middle of the 8 smaller ones (it’s the ‘shamash’ or attendant candle that lights the others). Place a tea light in each jar and light them according to the days of Hanukkah.
