In the Microwave or with an Electric Kettle

1. In your microwave or electric kettle, boil enough water to cover the eggs in a pot by one inch (make sure the water has come to a roaring bubble). Place eggs in a pot on your countertop.

2. Pour water over the eggs, and immediately cover the pot with a lid. Set your timer for 14 minutes.

3. When the 14 minutes are up, immediately remove eggs from hot water and place in a bowl or pot of ice-cold water to prevent them from overcooking.
