He may be 67, but as long as he can pull off a fedora, Harrison Ford is ready to play Indiana Jones.
"The story for the new Indiana Jones is taking form," Ford revealed at the Deauville Film Festival yesterday. "Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and myself are agreed on what the fifth film should be about. George is actively working on it."
He did, however, have one disclaimer: "If the script is good, I'll be very happy to put on the costume again."
In the past, Ford has been famously critical of George Lucas' screenwriting ability, once telling him during the filming of Star Wars: "You can write this shit, George, but you can't say it." Still, he's worked with Lucas on all of the four Indiana Jones movies – so odds are good that we'll soon be awaiting a fifth.
