Harry Potter Gets Naked in 'Deathly Hallows'!

This just-released photo is our first look at Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1. And according to director David Yates, we'll soon be in for an eyeful.

According to a new interview with Yates, Daniel Radcliffe appears naked sometime in the last two films. Seriously. Here it is, word for word: "At certain points, Radcliffe will appear naked."

If you're looking for context, this is what Yates had to offer: "[In one scene], “a horcrux [carrying a piece of Voldemort’s soul] defends itself by producing nightmarish visions, and one shows Hermione and Harry embracing and kissing. It’s something intriguing and sensual for Rupert to react to, and Dan will be bare for that.” (Emphasis added.)

Sounds like it's not just Harry Potter nudity, it's a full-blown Harry-Hermione love scene, with some Weasley voyeurism thrown in the mix. Maybe leave the kids home for this one?

20-year-old Radcliffe, of course, is no stranger to nude scenes; his performance in the Broadway show Equus had him full-frontal and riding a horse. As he said in a charming interview with Inside the Actors Studio, his biggest concern was "the Michelangelo's David effect" -- his onstage nervousness making him appear, ahem, a lesser man.

Radcliffe's also done love scenes before, losing his onscreen virginity in 2007's December Boys. During filming, he was less concerned about the Michelangelo's David effect than the opposite: "Teresa Palmer is beautiful, so I was sort of worried about, you know, certain things." However, he did give this summary of the experience: "Kissing someone on camera is just not sexy, no matter how attracted to them you are." Wonder how he feels about Emma Watson...
