There are ways to curb your sugar cravings the healthy way. Instead of a granola bar, try a Cliff Bar or a Luna Bar. These bars have more protein and fiber, and will give you more nutrients than a granola bar. Instead of a sweetened yogurt, which is high in not only sugar but calories as well, try an unsweetened plain Greek style yogurt. Adding a low-calorie sweetener or stevia with some berries will do the trick. For breakfast, steel-cut oatmeal topped with some cinnamon will give you a good dose of fiber. Plus, cinnamon adds flavor and lowers cholesterol. Instead of juice, try water or tea.
