Heather Mills Awarded Almost $50 Million in McCartney Divorce
Maybe now Heather Mills will go away.
Paul McCartney's ex-wife got away with was awarded almost $50 million in the couple's divorce settlement, reports People.com. Heather told the waiting press she was "so, so happy" with the ridiculous sum of money.
The judge decided Paul should pay Heather a lump sum (!) of around $33 million, plus their existing assets together, which run about $15 million. And there you have the almost $50 mil. The judge deemed that she had overspent during nearly two years of separation by $1 million.
In addition to being happy, Heather also said she was "just glad it was over," supposedly referring to the torturous proceedings, but we all know she's just ecstatic that she'll be living off The Beatles' money for the rest of her annoying life.
I'll wonder if she gets a dollar for every time someone sings "Can't Buy Me Love" at a karaoke bar.
