WATCH: Is 10-Year-Old Heather Russell the Next Justin Bieber?

The precocious singer-songwriter is making quite the splash on YouTube, soulfully belting out her own original songs

We all know that Justin Bieber got his start on YouTube, and now there's another young musician looking to score her big break via viral videos. Ten-year-old Heather Russell is one talented singer-songwriter whose original tunes have many speculating that she’s the next Internet sensation turned pop superstar.

The Atlanta native is reportedly being mentored by Grammy-winning producer and songwriter Rob Fusari, whose credits include co-executive producing Lady Gaga's The Fame, as well as cowriting four of the songs on that album. Not a bad guy to have in your corner -- but, based on the evidence we've seen, Russell is more than deserving.

In the videos for "She Needs Love" and "Can't Please Everyone," Russell skillfully plays the piano while soulfully belting out her own tunes. And she's already amassed quite a following, with her videos receiving thousands upon thousands of hits (the video for "Every Step of the Way," in which she sings while her dad accompanies her on guitar, has already cracked 83,000 views). See her skills for yourself in the videos below!

The girl's definitely got a set of pipes on her and can work some magic on the keyboard, but does she have Bieber-level appeal? Will "Heatherites" soon be worshipping Russell as the next teen queen? We'll have to wait and see.
