Hugh Hefner may have been dumped by fiance Crystal Harris just days before their scheduled wedding, but, as expected, the Playboy founder wasn't lonely for very long. After announcing the sad news via Twitter, Hef's team of hot Girls Next Door came to the rescue.
Bridget Marquardt was first to show up to lend some support to her heartbroken ex. "Just stopped by the mansion 2 give @hughhefner a hug," she Tweeted Tuesday. "He seems to be handling this well. He even had a sense of humor about it! #LoveUHef"
Up next was Kendra Wilkinson, who hinted she had plans to ease Hef's pain with some alcohol and a smoke. ""@hughhefner we r comin over w some jack n coke... oh n a pipe lol," the former Dancing with the Stars dynamo told her ex.
And though the third link in the blonde beauty chain, Holly Madison, couldn't be there in person, she also sent her love to the big man. "U r too sweet," she Tweeted back to Kendra. "Wish I was there to support, too!"
With all the love Hefner has gotten from his "friends," we're not surprised that he's managed to keep his head up and even have good sense of humor through all of this.
"The breakup is a heart breaker, but better now than after the marriage," he Tweeted, adding, "Since we're not getting married on Saturday, I've scheduled a movie: "Runaway Bride." Seems appropriate."
Atta boy, Hef. Watch a movie, take a dip in the grotto, and drown your sorrows in some sexy stunners. Sounds like the perfect remedy for heartbreak.
