Breaking up is always hard to do -- but when there are kids involved, it becomes even more difficult. Luckily, Heidi Klum and Seal seem to be handling their split in the best way possible, and they're making their four children their first priority.
In a recent interview with Access Hollywood Live, Seal explained how he and his estranged wife broke the news of their breakup to their kids -- Leni, 7, Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2.
"We tried to explain the best we could what is going on -- just explaining to them that things will be different," the singer said. "But a lot of things won't change, and the main thing is to make sure that they feel like they're loved. Make sure they understand that their parents love each other."
The devoted dad (who said this week that a reconciliation between him and his supermodel wife "may happen") also wants to make it clear to his little ones that their parents' split is not their fault.
"(We want to) make sure they understand that if there are any changes, it has absolutely nothing to do with them," he said. "And it won't change the amount of time that we spend with them. Quality time. It's not the amount of time...it's the quality of that time."
