Heidi Montag joined the ranks of Hollywood's overly operated when she underwent at least 10 plastic surgeries in 2010. But the television starlet has had enough, period.
The former The Hills star, 25, told Celebuzz why she never plans to have plastic surgery again. "It was a lot more than I could have expected," she admitted. "I really hate talking about it now because it was so long ago. I was a much different person back then to who I am now. I didn't realize how much of The Hills -- and going through that -- would define who I am."
Montag, whose catalog of procedures included brow-lifts, chin reduction, and ear pinnings, said she realizes how dangerous having so many surgeries could have been and says she's "really thankful" her body never became disfigured from all the surgeries.
"It could have been really disastrous," she said.
The starlet, who has been married to Spencer Pratt since 2009, admitted that it was mistake to do so much.
"I lived and I learned, and I wouldn't really recommend it for other people. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be going through it -- physically, mentally, emotionally, recovering," she said of the surgeries. "But, I'm just glad it's done and that everything healed so well."
Montag hopes the media will stop focusing on the surgeries as she moves on with her life.
"I'm really looking forward to the next phase in my life," she explained. "I know I'll never be able to get away from a lot of [my past], but I won't give up trying to prove I'm more than just that."
