Helpful Thanksgiving Cooking Hotlines

Need some help with your Thanksgiving dinner? Experts are at the ready, so give these cooking hotlines a call!

Butterball's Turkey Talk-Line: 1-800-BUTTERBALL
Call the Butterball hotline or ask questions via Twitter (@butterball) throughout November and December. No question is too tough for these turkey talkers, and they are ready and excited to tackle any challenge you throw at them. A caller once asked how to get her small dog out from inside of the turkey, so no question is too embarrassing.

Crisco Pie Hotline: 1-877-FOR-PIE-TIPS
If you need a little help baking your Thanksgiving pie, this is the place to call. The line is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET year round, but hours are extended from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET from November 15-24 and December 13-23.

USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline: 1-888-674-6854
If you're wondering what temperature your turkey needs to be, or how to make sure your stuffing is done, call the USDA hotline. The USDA is on the line from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, to answer all of your food safety questions.
