Hilary Duff has been open about her experiences as a new mom, and now the actress is being honest about another aspect of parenting a baby: its effect on her sex life.
The former Disney star, 25, admits that ever since giving birth to little Luca Cruz nine months ago, she and husband Mike Comrie, 32, haven't exactly been acting like honeymooners.
"It's definitely different. I'm so exhausted at the end of each day, so I'm like, 'Can this not happen at night when I'm exhausted?'" Duff revealed to Access Hollywood Live about her decreased sex drive on Dec. 14. "You find different times to do it."
Now mobile, little Luca is "into everything" in the Duff-Comrie household, making mama keep up with his every move.
"I'm running around the house just trying to keep up with him. He's so fast... He's trying to talk and he's a little aggressive."
The new parents, who tied the knot in 2010, are thrilled with their baby boy -- but according to Duff will want to wait another year or two before adding to their family.
"Mike and I are literally so obsessed with Luca. He's perfect! We should just be one and done," she giggled. "But I think once your kid starts getting older you miss that baby phase and you go in for round two."
Running after Luca has paid off, considering Duff recently sported jeans with a tiny 26-inch waist. Still, Duff says she's trying to get consumed with working out too much.
"I am worried because everyone wants their body back. It's all in time, you know? It took nine months to get there, so hopefully it won't take that long to get it off," Duff said on Access Hollywood Live. "But I'm doing it slowly."
