A Hairy Situation: Hilary Swank Walks the Red Carpet with Unshaved Armpits

The actress opted for a less fussy -- and more fuzzy -- look on the red carpet

Was Hilary Swank testing out a new look on the red carpet Monday night? The Conviction actress shined in a dazzling gold dress -- and while her hair and makeup were flawless, she seemed to forget one key beauty step: shaving her armpits!

Swank posed with her hand on her hip for photographers at Elle magazine's Women in Hollywood Tribute party in Los Angeles. The pose revealed her hairy armpits, which didn't exactly complement her Calvin Klein bustier frock.

The 36-year-old isn't the first actress to go unshaven for an event, as both Julia Roberts and Drew Barrymore have made the same faux pas on past occasions, while Oscar-winner Mo'Nique showed off fuzzy legs at this year's Golden Globes.
