What’s the greater challenge for Hillary Clinton? Brokering peace in the Middle East or arranging her 29-year-old daughter’s nuptials? “I’d probably call it a draw about now,” the U.S. Secretary of State recently told CNN with a laugh.
Chelsea Clinton's wedding to Marc Mezvinsky, 31, is expected to happen this summer, but the bride's busy mom admits neither she nor her daughter have given much thought to their frocks. “I don't have a dress yet, and Chelsea doesn’t either,” Hillary told CNN. “We’re working on it.”
Although the CNN interview focused primarily on such heavy topics as earthquake relief in Haiti, terrorism and health reform, Hillary cheerfully took a verbal detour to discuss her daughter’s imminent nuptials. The former FLOTUS (First Lady of the United States) described herself as “proud MOTB” (Mother of the Bride), adding that “it's a new status for me being an MOTB. But I'm very proud to have that status.”
Neither the date nor the location for Chelsea’s wedding has been announced yet.
