What does Spencer do all day? While Heidi gets dressed to go to work, her man just loafs around the house. Could he get more annoying? At the office, Heidi gives her assistant a list of callers who always get through -- Spence being numero uno. Why does Heidi have an assistant?
Whitney scouts locations for the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party, while Lauren fills Whitney in on her meeting with Jason. L.C. tells her pal that Jason is a changed person. Jase calls Lauren and asks her to dinner, while Spencer just happens to take Heidi to the same place (can somebody say staged?). Spencer passes a comment to Jason and Lauren that he's happy to see them back together, while Heidi suggests that "maybe they're back in the movie making business." They then send Lauren and Jason drinks, which they send right back. What nerve! I so hate Heidi and Spencer -- I can't even deal. Jason, obviously, wants to punch Spence, but Lauren just wants to leave. After a tense moment in the car, Lauren gets out with no good night kiss for Jason.
In the best moment of the season by far, Heidi yaps to Elodie that she saw Lauren and Jason and they were so rude, yada, yada, yada, and instead of taking Heidi's side, Elodie looks her in the face and says, "What exactly did you do to her that would make her not even accept a drink from you?" Fabulous! Elodie is so my new favorite character!
Lauren and Jason meet up again and laugh and have fun. Lauren tells Jason she'll have "sober nights" with him.
Next week: Things look crazy! Whitney gets wasted, Spencer admits he hasn't told his parents about the engagement, and Jason gets engaged! Don't miss it.
