Smallin suggests using a microfiber cloth, glass cleaner, toilet cleaner, tub/shower cleaner, and a broom and dustpan for a quick clean in half the time. Here's her step-by-step recommendation: “Squirt toilet cleaner in the toilet and let it sit. Spray your tub or shower and sink basins with a foaming tub & tile cleaner and let that sit while you clean the mirror. Spray and wipe with a lint-free paper towel or microfiber cloth and it leaves behind a great shine with no streaks or cloudiness.”

After cleaning mirrors, rinse out the sink basins and use the window cleaner and same microfiber cloth to clean and shine faucets and countertops. “Once that's done, turn on the shower and rinse the shower/tub using the microfiber cloth as needed to remove cleaning product. Squeeze the cloth dry and use it to wipe the outside of the toilet. Then toss it aside for the wash,” she says. Lastly, sweep the floor, return rugs, and hang fresh towels. Corian and granite countertops require special cleaning products so make sure to check what you’re cleaning before you begin.
