'Hitchcock' (Nov. 23)

Short Story:
For many viewers, Psycho is the quintessential horror flick. So what was it like to direct such a fright fest? Only Alfred Hitchcock (Anthony Hopkins) knows, and this biographical drama gives some insight into the director's life as he made the classic film. Also starring Helen Mirren as Hitchcock's wife Alma Reville and Scarlett Johansson as Psycho actress Janet Leigh.

What They're Saying:
"Hitchcock might be a work of fantasy and speculation as much as it is history and biography, but as an interpretation of a major talent's inner life and imagination, it's undeniably lively and provocative." -- The Hollywood Reporter

Good for Kids?
Parents might want to choose another film for their young kids this weekend, as the PG-13-rated Hitchcock includes violent images, sexual content and thematic material. But Common Sense Media says the movie's dark themes shouldn't surprise viewers: "This film is, after all, about Hitchcock."
