Putting plans to paper (or iPad) helps clarify what needs to be done, and gets the whirl of to-dos out of your head. “Making simple lists of major events to attend, meals to cook and visitors to entertain can help keep commitments in perspective and aid in planning your holiday season,” suggests Extreme Clutter’s Peter Walsh, Oprah’s favorite get-it-together guru. “The holidays are a time for family, friends and reflection.
