Pumpkins at the Table

"I like to use real produce in a centerpiece at the table or on a buffet or sideboard," says Mary McCachern, author of the blog Home Is Where The Boat Is. "The mini tiger stripe pumpkins can be hollowed out for another table with votive candles, or as vases for flowers from the grocery store for a mini individual arrangement for each place setting or hollowed out for bowls for serving seasonal soup like butternut squash or pumpkin." Best of all, nothing goes to waste because the pumpkins can be used later on in recipes.
