The Barack Obama-supporting celebs were partying it up last night, as the senator from Illinois was elected our 44th president.
Courteney Cox and David Arquette reportedly held a Barack Obama party at their home, which BFF Jennifer Aniston attended. Also on hand were Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher, and bottles of Cristal, of with which David was feeling very generous.
"David was in such a good mood, he walked outside his gate and poured champagne for the paparazzi," an insider told E! Online.
Across the country in Chicago, Oprah Winfrey and Brad Pitt were live and in person, as Barack addressed thousands of supporters who were dancing along the city's waterfront.
More celebs who got in their congratulatory wishes? George Clooney and Usher.
"I congratulate President-elect Obama on his historic victory, and now it's time to begin unifying the country so we can take on the extraordinary challenges that this generation faces," George said in a statement.
"Isn't this incredible news?" Usher concurred to Access Hollywood. "Man, this is incredible. It's so incredible to see that this historical thing has happened, man. Before it was a thought of what happens if he doesn't win. The public service that went into this and the encouragement that came out of it, it's just incredible to see it happen."
