You can substitute the cherry juice with other flavors. Make your own juice by simmering a bag of thawed frozen fruit such as blackberries, mangoes or raspberries until reduced by one third. Strain any seeds though a fine-mesh sieve.
|1 cup water||1 cup sugar or agave syrup|
|1 cup tart cherry juice (from Montmorency cherries)||1/2 gallon club soda|
Heat the water, cherry juice and sugar or agave; mix well until combined.
In a pitcher, add the cherry mixture and the club soda; stir until combined.
Serve over ice.
