Betty White, William Shatner, and the rest of the funny women of Hot in Cleveland, live? There's no telling what can, and will, happen on TV Land!
Hot in Cleveland resumes its fourth season on the network on June 19th (10 p.m. ET) with the live episode, which marks not only the first time the show has gone live, but also the first time the wonderful and hilarious White has done a live TV comedy in decades. And the national treasure that is Betty White, as anyone who's seen one of her spirited guest appearances on a talk show can attest, is a sharp improviser (and more than a little prone to a naughty quip or two). As we said, there's no telling what will happen.
Viewers will be in on the fun by watching the episode, of course, but there's also a chance to participate in the live event by tweeting your best wishes to the cast and episode guest stars William Shatner and Brian Baumgartner (The Office). Tweeted messages to #HOTLive and #BreakALeg will not only stream in the performers' dressing rooms the evening of the show, but they may also appear live on TV Land during the two hours before the episode starts.
Check out www.summerofsitcoms.com for more info on TV Land's summer line-up, and to send your messages to the Hot in Cleveland crew. And be prepared to share the live event's best moments with the Twittersphere -- you know it's going to be a very quotable evening!
Again, the deets to know for the live premiere: tweet messages to #HOTLive and #BreakALeg, follow the show at @tvland and @hotnclevelandtv, and visit www.summerofsitcoms.com for scoop on all of TV Land's fantastic summer comedies.
And speaking of … the live Cleveland episode will be followed by the third season premiere of The Exes, in which Phil (Donald Faison), Haskell (Wayne Knight), and Stuart (David Alan Basche) break Holly's (Kristen Johnston), ahem, personal relaxation gadget, and try to fix it before she becomes any the wiser.
