What's Hot in Cleveland this summer? A lengthy list of TV legends as guest stars.
The TV Land comedy, which boasts its own cast of tube legends with Betty White, Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, and Wendie Malick, begins the second half of season four with a special live episode on June 19, and special guest stars William Shatner (Star Trek and Boston Legal) and Brian Baumgartner (The Office).
And in September, Hot in Cleveland hosts one of the most anticipated TV events of the year when White and recurring guest star Georgia Engel reunite with their Mary Tyler Moore Show co-stars Mary Tyler Moore and Valerie Harper.
Moore has guested on the series before -- as a jailmate of White's sassy Elka -- but the September 4th installment will be an extra special reunion for the stars, as they celebrate beloved MTM and Rhoda star Harper, who announced in March that she has terminal brain cancer.
In another showcase of TV's funniest women ever, the June 26th episode pits guest star Carol Burnett against White. Burnett guest stars as Penny, the mother of Wendie Malick's Victoria, while her Carol Burnett Show co-star Tim Conway returns as Elka's ex-boyfriend, Nick. Nick only has eyes for local TV star Penny now, though bad girl Elka is definitely going to have something to say about that.
Cleveland, which has won an Emmy, Screen Actors Guild, People's Choice, and GLAAD Media Award since premiering in 2010, continues its string of fabulous guests with "Modern Family" star Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ugly Betty alum Michael Urie, who pop up in the second half of season four.
Past Hot in Cleveland guest stars have included Carl Reiner, Regis Philbin, Huey Lewis, John Schneider, Don Rickles, Joe Jonas, Hal Linden, Wayne Knight, Susan Lucci, Jon Lovitz, John Mahoney, Dave Foley, Doris Roberts, Sherri Shepherd, Valerie Bertinelli's One Day at a Time mom Bonnie Franklin, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jimmy Kimmel, Melanie Griffith, Sean Hayes, Gilles Marini, Ed Asner, Doug Savant, David Spade, Joan Rivers, Heather Locklear, Fred Willard, and Eddie Cibrian.
