After years of being unlucky in love, Jessica Simpson got her groove back -- and a proposal from boyfriend Eric Johnson. The vegan football player, whom Simpson has been dating since May, popped the question shortly before Thanksgiving with a 100-year-old ring from Neil Lane. The unusual sparkler, a five-carat ruby flanked by three-carat diamonds, is a Tiffany original. "I've already done the traditional thing," said 30-year-old Simpson, referring to her first engagement ring from ex-husband Nick Lachey. "So, I just wanted to do something that was different. It was all Eric's idea and he just wanted it to be special." Judging from the smile Jessica has been wearing lately, we’d say he succeeded.
