This may sound a little strange, but I would like to know whether there is a recipe to make a steak the way that restaurants do. I just can't seem to make them as tasty and good-looking as they do. Mine are always too pale. --kathy_50

Restaurants have high-powered grills that cook the steaks in a way that we can't at home. However, restaurants frequently sear their steaks with butter to add flavor. You can try that method, but be sure to check the quality of the meat that you use, as that can make a huge difference. You can also buy a grill pan. I bought one recently for cooking steaks indoors. It does give that grilled look when I cook at higher heat. Good luck!
