chime in nowCheck out local grocery stores for common varities like stock, roses and local in-season flowers (think daffodils and tulips). Local florists are great for finding more unusual flowers like orchids, poppies and off-season varities like wild greens and peonies. Don’t be afraid to check out your backyard for branches and leafy greens. In general, your arrangement will have more impact if you stick to just a few colors. Base your design on green and white fillers and punctuate the arrangement with fewer larger, boldy-hued blooms.
