I made chicken stock and added too much salt and black pepper. Now it's a little too spicy. How can I fix it? --Sbmevers
If you add a raw potato to the stock, it will pull out the excess salt and maybe some pepper. You could also try adding a little lemon juice, or add pasta to soak up some liquid. Or simply remove some of the broth from the mixture and replace it with the same measurement of canned broth. If nothing works, send it to Louisiana, as we like spicy food.
