Feed your face with antioxidants, the "miracle workers that capture the free radicals that wreak havoc on your cells and ruin your complexion," explains nutritional counselor, Amy Nelms. She advises clients to stock up up on delicious fruit like avocados, blueberries, cherries and cantaloupe, lean proteins like fish, chicken and black beans, and vegetables such as broccoli, kale, mushrooms and red bell peppers.

Celebrity skincare guru, Kate Somerville, heartily agrees. "In addition to antioxidants all of these foods are packed with minerals, essential oils, plus vitamins A and C that stimulate circulation and lend skin a healthful glow," she says.
