Containers: You can buy a set of new gardening pots for your herbs, but it isn’t necessary. Indoor herbs will grow just as well in spare containers you might find around your home. Still, it's important that the containers have ample drainage to help herbs thrive.
Tip: Clay pots are generally better than plastic. Clay is more porous and will make it easier to keep the soil moist.
