How Healthy Are Women in Georgia?

Everything must be peachy in Georgia! Women here have one of the lowest rates of depression in the country. More good news: Georgia women get their Pap smears, avoid binge drinking, and have low rates of asthma and heart disease compared to most other women.

Georgia slips into the bottom ten on two important issues, though. Both life expectancy rates and the number of insured are lower than the national average. Also, 1 in 10 women will receive a life-changing diabetes diagnosis.

See where Georgia ranks on the health issues below. Remember, #1 is healthiest; #50 is least healthy.
