How Healthy Are Women in South Dakota?

Women in South Dakota really like to live it up -- binge drinking, smoking, and filling up on unhealthy grub more than women in most other states.

Here’s the thing, though. They’re also pretty good about seeking preventative care, they have a long life expectancy, and they have some of the lowest rates of asthma and ovarian cancer in the country. Maybe a few simple lifestyle changes could make South Dakota one of the healthiest states in the union.

See where South Dakota ranks on the health issues below. Remember, #1 is healthiest; #50 is least healthy.
