How Healthy Are Women in Texas?

We wish women in the Lone Star State didn’t have to go it alone! A full 30 percent don’t have health insurance, making them the nation’s worst-ranked on this critical issue.

Still, there are two healthy habits we can all learn from Texan women. They’re taking care of their skin -- skin cancer rates are the second lowest in the country. And lung cancer rates are low thanks to the fact that they’re not smoking.

See where Texas ranks on the health issues below. Remember, #1 is healthiest; #50 is least healthy.
