"It’s important for people understand that drugs and surgery are not a cure-all, and that without healthy lifestyle changes and exercise, they will continue to do damage to their cardiovascular systems, and possibly have more heart problems in the future. I know for me, my triple bypass was a major heads-up that I'd really messed up my body with poor eating and exercise habits. So, even late in life, I am working toward living healthier. I’m not just depending on drugs with side effects that can actually reduce my quality of life, but with diet and exercise, as well as supplements. We live and, hopefully, learn."
