How to Make Group Bubbles

Ages: 3-5, 6-8, 9-12
Location: Outdoors

What you'll need:
Bubble mixture
Various objects for children to create bubbles with, such as pipe cleaners, jar lids, strips of aluminum foil, rubber bands, and so on.

Background:
If it's your turn to entertain the neighborhood kids, whip up a batch of bubble mixture and let the fun begin.

Setting up:
On a sunny day, make some bubble mix outside in a water table, a child's plastic swimming pool or a large dishpan. Mix enough of the solution for several children to use at the same time.

What to do:
Provide interesting materials for the children to experiment with to create their own bubble blowers. You might provide telephone wire, pipe cleaners, cardboard tubing, jar lids, strips of aluminum foil, pieces of Styrofoam, rubber bands and straws.
