Oh! So That's How You Open a Ketchup Packet!

We've been doing it wrong all these years.

Ah, ketchup. The condiment of the gods. Works great on everything from french fries to eggs, and it's probably even delicious on ice cream too (not that we've tried this—yet). But opening a ketchup packet? You need a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering. It's like the ketchup doesn't even want to be opened, no matter how hard you rip and squeeze.

But down under, it's a whole different story. A 2009 Australian YouTube video that's now resurfacing shows us that those wily Australians are onto something. Could opening a ketchup packet really be this easy? Just squeezing the sides together? Don't simply take our word for it: See for yourself.
