How to Play Switching Roles

This activity requires that you and your child switch roles for the day (or part of the day). Explain to the rest of the household what is happening and ask their cooperation. If more convenient, your child could pretend to be another member of the family-a sibling or grandparent. The make-believe could include duties, clothes, behaviors, vocabulary , and other habits. Keep the activity positive and fun.
