How to Prepare a Midnight Feast

Materials

• Feast food

Directions

This activity has to be done on a weekend or vacation when the family doesn't have to wake up for school or work. Someone needs to be the organizer of the feast. Decide on a place to have the feast: a backyard under the stars, in a fort you've made, the basement, or you could drive somewhere special. The place doesn't matter as long as it's kept secret until the last minute. Midnight is a magical time and this will be an adventure to talk about and remember for a long time. Plan food for the feast that the family doesn't get to eat often nothing messy or difficult to carry. Get blankets to sit on and set the alarm clock for 11:45 so everyone can be awake and ready to meet and eat at 12 midnight.
